NT Learning Adventures Darwin To Top End

 Top End and Surrounds

Darwin, the capital of the Northern Territory, perched right on a harbour that is twice the size of Sydney, has a tropical climate, multicultural population and a unique and interesting outdoor lifestyle. The airport welcomes flights from most capital cities, and excursions can encompass a variety of learning areas from science, environmental studies to history and Aboriginal culture.
Darwin has a rich and varied history around early pioneers, WWII and Asian influences. There are a variety of attractions available to school groups which not only depict our strong history but provide excellent learning outcomes aligned with the Australian curriculum. Some of these include Defence of Darwin museum, Aviation museum, Darwin Museum and Art Gallery of NT and WWII Tunnels.
Venturing out of the main hub you will find places such as Litchfield where nature is the theme park and waterfalls are the theme rides! NT Parks and Wildlife can help you with educational resources, park maps and camping areas available especially for school groups.
The Mary River region is also full of amazing landscapes, wildlife and plenty of activities for school groups.  Stay at Mary river wilderness retreat and visit Pudakul to learn about Aboriginal culture in this area. For something that will test development and team building skills, why not stay at Adventure Bound.
The Top End has some fantastic activities that will suit all age groups.  NT Learning Adventures is proud to showcase our range of learning adventures where both teacher and student will benefit from.
